3D model description
I play wargames and we use a lot of d6 dice. I wanted to speed up my game, so I came up with a quick way to count my dice out by 5s. Flip the number of dice you need into your hand.
It’s designed to carry 25 x 12 mm or 25 x 16 mm dice. Both designs are included.
The clip that keeps the container closed has marks added to it to measure out to 3 inches, and the width of the clip is 1 inch to help with quickly measuring smaller distances.
3D printing settings
Supports – most of it is designed to print without supports, but I couldn’t come up with a way to avoid making the inset for the clip to not be supported. Here I just used 50% density.
Springs – make sure to print 2 x springs. I suggest using basic pla or something that will at least hold its shape better than filament with additives.
Assembly – Place the spring in the slots box down. Slide the lid over them pressing down on the springs till they snap in. Make sure that lid is placed with the thinner walls for the runners facing the spring ( see images for help )
