To the People of Vordenth,
**While rationing has been rescinded due to the major successes from the Delvers Guild, we would like to leave this notice in place to remind the people that it is important to stay vigilant about our resources.**
Due to ongoing resource limitations and recent setbacks in securing additional water supplies, the Deepwardens are enacting mandatory water rationing, effective immediately. This measure is necessary to ensure the continued well-being of all citizens while ongoing efforts to secure new sources are underway.
Water Rationing Guidelines:
- Daily water allotments will be adjusted to prioritize drinking and essential needs.
- Public baths and non-essential water use will be temporarily restricted.
- Businesses and artisans dependent on water-intensive work are encouraged to seek alternative methods where possible.
Efforts Underway:
The Deepwardens, alongside the Delvers’ Guild, are actively investigating new sources of clean water and exploring alternative supply solutions. Recent expeditions have provided promising leads, and our best minds are working tirelessly to secure a stable future for all of Vordenth.
We understand that this is a time of uncertainty, but we assure you: Vordenth has endured worse, and we will endure this. Trust in the strength of our city, and know that every effort is being made to restore balance.
Further updates will be provided as new developments arise. Until then, we ask for patience, resilience, and cooperation in ensuring that all in Vordenth have access to what they need to survive.
Use of water as currency, extortion or otherwise will not be tolerated. Please, remember, we survive together or not at all.
